XXI INTERNATIONAL MUSIC COURSE will take place in Glucholazy between 11th
and 21st August 2010. Each year pupils and students from around the world
come to Glucholazy to improve their skills and work
on their repertoire with distinguished professors from Poland, Germany and
France. Through getting to know each other and playing together they create
an extremely integrated community.
Distinguished participants are also invited to take part in several
concerts which are held in Glucholazy, Moszna, Opole and Hradec Moravici
(Czech) during the Course.
The international Music Courses in Glucholazy are the shared idea of Jerzy
Heller, an animator of many musical ventures in Opole region and the
headmaster
of Opole State Music School and Tomasz Tomaszewski, leader of Deutsche
Oper Berlin and professor at the University of Arts in Berlin.
The idea of Jerzy Heller who died in 1992 has been continued by the
Society of International Music Courses in Glucholazy and The State Music
School of first degree in Glucholazy while Tomasz Tomaszewski has been the
Courses' artistic director from the very beginning.
