XXIII INTERNATIONAL MUSIC COURSE will take place in OPOLE between 4th and 14th August 2012. Each year pupils and students from around the world
come to improve their skills and work
on their repertoire with distinguished professors from Poland, Germany, France and Italy. Through getting to know each other and playing together they create an extremely integrated community. Distinguished participants are also invited to take part in several concerts which are held in Opole, Glucholazy, Moszna, Kamień ¦l±ski and Brzeg during the Course.
The international Music Courses are the shared idea of Jerzy Heller, an animator of many musical ventures in Opole region and the headmaster of Opole State Music School and Tomasz Tomaszewski, leader of Deutsche Oper Berlin and professor at the University of Arts in Berlin. The idea of Jerzy Heller who died in 1992 has been continued by the Society of International Music Courses, called his name, and The State Music School of first and second degree in Opole while Tomasz Tomaszewski has been the Courses' artistic director from the very beginning.
